Which person are you…is this glass half empty or half full? How you see it, is your choice.
Some people feel that their surroundings or circumstances make the glass half empty. It brings them down and they can’t set goals or let alone reach any. Those that choose this way to think are cheating themselves.
Those that feel the glass is half full, feel that they can achieve what the want. They can set goals and reach them. They chose to see the positive aspects of their situation. They watch their lives get fuller each day.
It all comes down to a choice. A choice only you can make. If you want to see your life (glass) half empty then you will not grow and succeed into your full potential. The good news is you can change your point of view at any time in your life. You are never too young or too old to change your perspective. Start slow…see what your life (glass) does have in it not what it is missing. Soon your will see that your life will become fuller every day.
What choice will you make..half empty or half full??
Be fierce and face your fears head on. You are only as strong and you think. Don’t limit yourself!!!! BE FIERCE!!!
Strut your stuff today. You are the only you in the world, how great is that!!! Be proud of that. Show people how wonderful it is to be you. Don’t be afraid to strut your stuff!!!
Even when dark clouds are circling stand strong. Your faith is what makes you be able to stand in the middle of dark times. These clouds will pass, you just need to be strong and know that you will get through these cloudy times and that you will come out stronger on the other side. Stand strong in your faith today.
Don’t be afraid to jump. We can be just content to sit in one place and stay there. Never go explore, never go on any adventures….but if we do that we won’t grow. We need to leave our “lily pad” and jump to the next. Maybe that one doesn’t work and we need to jump to another one but we will never know unless we jump. We don’t learn without taking chances. Even if something doesn’t work out you will learn something from the experience and can grow from it. So now go jump!!!
What is my niche? That is a tough and scary question to answer. When I started my blog it was pretty random things. I was scared of the word niche. I read many articles on what a niche was and how to find one but I never could pin point what mine was…until recently…it hit me. I went back and look at most of my posts and they were all about motivation, inspiration and being yourself. I am passionate about these things. I feel we all have a purpose in this world. We all have potential and we need to live up to it everyday.
One article I read said that your niche is something you are passionate about. BOOM a ton of bricks hit me motivating and inspiring others is my niche!!!! A big wait was lifted off of me. I now have a path to follow. Will it change…maybe…that is to see down the road, for now though I will continue with this idea and keep posting and blogging about how to be motivated or how to inspire others.
If you are just starting out and your blog is kind of rambling, don’t worry, keep writing you will see a pattern form. You will find that certain thing, idea or product that you want to always write about and your niche will be right in front of you.
Here is the story behind my company name “My Friend Caroline”. I started the company a few years ago. It had been a dream of mine to own an online company, do a blog and sell products on a website. The first step was that I needed a name. I tried some cute and fun ideas with my last name. None worked.
My husband and I were sitting together one day and he said how about “My Friend Caroline”. His explanation was that I am a friendly person and work with customers well. Wouldn’t it be fun if someone bought one of your products they said that they got it from a friend…My friend Caroline. And so it came to be.
If you are just starting out with any type of a business the first and probably one of the most important steps is to think of a name for it. Make sure you take time and don’t rush into just any name. Ask friends and family for ideas. You will find that perfect name.
I hope you enjoy my website and while looking at my postings, blog and my store you think that maybe you have found a new friend!!!!
Live, laugh, play, everyday should be your motto. We need to make sure that we don’t get so caught up in our busy world that we forget to do these things.
I haven’t done much traveling in my lifetime. I was raised in California and have lived in Florida before. I have driven back and forth from those two states so I have seen Louisiana, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico. I have been to Colorado as well.
To some people that is quite a bit of traveling to others it may not be. There are three places on my travel bucket list however that I would like to go visit one day.
First on my list is Australia, I have seen many TV programs and pictures about Australia and it looks beautiful. I have a son who has been there and he fell in love with it. He said the people were just and beautiful and the countryside. I have see pictures of the Outback and I would love to do some exploring there.
Second on my list is New Zealand. The pictures I have seen of it look a lot like Australia. It always looks so green and luscious. I don’t know of anyone who has been there but I would like to hear from someone who has been.
Another place is Africa. I would love to go on a safari. To see wild animals in their natural habitat would be amazing. I know that this would be an adventure for sure. I am not sure how I would really do on a safari. I am not a fan of bugs or humidity that is why I didn’t live in Florida very long.
There are other places I would like to visit but these are my top 3. What are yours???
