Stop, ask, listen

Published / by caroline@myfriendcaroline.com / Leave a Comment

Today’s world can be so noisey!! We are all so busy. We see others and do the courtesy “hello, how are you?” But we don’t really listen to what they say. We don’t know the quiet inner struggles that others are going through that they just need to share. Today’s challenge is to contact someone, ask how they are doing and really listen to them. It won’t just help them it will help you too!!!

Twitter tips and tricks

I sell products on different platforms on line. I do Amazon, eBay and print on demand items. I use different ways to promote these. Today I am going to discuss Twitter.

I enjoy this platform because it is so easy. I use the program Buffer to schedule posts of my products. I usually post three of my products per day. (This way is doesn’t look or feel too spammy.) These are what schedule. I usually schedule these for a week. I set up a day that I take the time to work on this schedule and then I don’t have to worry about it throughout the week.

Twitter is a great source to get your finger on the pulse of what is going on in the world. I actually get some of my tshirt ideas from it as well. During the day I will send out a few tweets that are relevant to what is going on in the world or in my life. For example, if I am watching a sporting event I will tweet about that, or how the weather is where I am. Tweets like these are very easy to send out. They don’t even take a minute.

When I send out any tweet I make sure I use hashtags. I am finding that 3 is just about the right amount. I make sure my hashtags are relevant to what I am tweeting about.

So if you aren’t on Twitter. I suggest you go there now and sign up. www.twitter.com. It will take some time to get used to using only 140 characters but it is not hard to do. Once you have tweeted some tweets and you are ready to start scheduling them now you can go to www.buffer.com and get that set up.

Please let me know how it goes for you. If you have other tips or tricks about Twitter, please leave me comment. If you have any questions about this post, again please leave me a comment.

I know this is a broad look on how to use this platform but I feel that by using a hands on approach you will learn what works best for you.

Happy tweeting!!!
